Our cruises do not visit the shipwrecks of Big Tub Harbour, but our kayaks do and the view is impressive! We prefer to focus our cruise boats on more readily accessible and unique sites. Rent our kayaks at our cruise boat departure dock.
Our vessels Tobermory Legacy and Tobermory Flash, are not equipped with glass bottoms. These “glass bottoms” are usually only viewable by a handful of passengers, and we want to offer the same experience to all of our passengers. We aim to offer exciting/enjoyable rides, providing our passengers with views not offered by other companies. Just great views and fun rides.
We love to accommodate all passengers. Our largest vessel Tobermory Legacy is wheelchair accessible. Our speedboat Tobermory Flash is not wheelchair accessible.
Yes, of course! Our vessels are held to the highest standards set by Transport Canada. Our crew is highly trained in marine safety and we are outfitted with the latest marine safety equipment. All of our tours begin with a safety briefing by one of our energetic guides to ensure all passengers are kept safe.
Boats are a funny thing. Some people are born with their sea legs, others turn green at the sight. Rest assured most people will find these tours to be quite enjoyable. Our vessels are very stable and motion sickness is not usually an issue. We would ask that guests use their own personal discretion when booking a tour.
Big groups put BIG smiles on our faces. We’ll offer personal groups 10 persons or more a generous discount on their booking. This discount would be applied after the booking has been made. For tour groups or groups exceeding 20 persons please book through our group booking department and discounted rates will be determined by our sales team. Book groups through Groups@tobermorycruiseline.com
We recommend that guests prepare for a day on the water. We suggest that passengers bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses etc. We always recommend that passengers dress appropriately for the day’s weather. The water can be quite cold so we recommend that passengers bring sweaters, or rain jackets when the weather is cool or wet. We recommend wearing layers so that you can adjust your clothing appropriately. There is no personal storage on board so we would ask that passengers bring only what they need on their person. We cannot be responsible for property lost or damaged while on the tour. Our Tobermory Legacy has an open upper deck and an enclosed main deck to provide protection against the elements, all the while offering great views. Our Tobermory Flash has an open seating area.
Our Tobermory Legacy offers a lunch cruise and a dinner cruise. Snacks and beverages are available from our licenced snack bar so bringing food aboard is not allowed. Our Tobermory Flash FUN Tour passengers may bring a bottle of water if they would like but food is not permitted on board.
Our pet policy does not allow animals aboard our cruises. Service dogs may be accepted with prior notice. Please contact a sales agent to make arrangements.
We operate non-stop cruises of the Tobermory area. We do not drop off passengers on Flowerpot Island or any other destination. Once boarded our passengers get to sit back and relax in comfort as we visit the most famous attractions in Fathom Five National Marine Park.
